Learning that makes a difference

Welcome from Martin Hookham

PRINCIPAL

Kia ora and thanks for visiting us online. Korokoro School is a dynamic, positive and caring learning environment located above Petone in beautiful surroundings and overlooking Wellington Harbour.  It's the heart of a great community with staff, students and parents working closely with each other to support our School's vision. Our website is intended to give visitors a general overview but also a glimpse into the special character of Korokoro School. Day to day we communicate online with parents and caregivers with email and notices on our Facebook page, but if you have questions or would like further information please don't hesitate to contact me.

School Vision

"To develop life long learners who have the skills, values, knowledge and confidence to fulfil their potential, enjoy personal happiness and make a positive contribution to society"

Sam Worsley

Student Council

Kia ora my name is Sam Worsley and I have been at Korokoro School for nearly six years. I am thankful to have made it onto the student council for 2021 and I aim to be a good leader and help the school. I believe that I am a good leader and I like spending time with the little kids. I will try to make sure all children are spending their time well and having a great time.

Kate Gray

Student Council

Kia Ora I'm Kate Gray and I am excited to be elected onto the student council for 2021. I have been at this school for six years and have been offered so many great opportunities. Sadly it is my last year but I have been given the chance to give back to the school I grew up in! I have proved that I am a good leader when I run events like tabloid sports. I am reliable, responsible and a good role model. I hope to come up with new and creative ways to help the school. I engage with other students and I like to help around the school. I am happy to be on the student council!
